Other Resources
YWCA Clinton believes that safe housing is a basic human right.
These are a list of resources available to people in our community.

Loads of Love
By partnering with the First Methodist Church and the Clinton Public Library we aim to fill an unmet need in our community - providing self-serve laundry services.
Three times a day, four days a week there are 1.5 hour booking slots available at the church. You can book your time slot by contacting the First Methodist Church, YWCA Clinton's Empowerment Center, or the Clinton Public Library.
Sign up for a time to tend your laundry and we will provide the equipment, the soap, and the softener. To protect a person's privacy only one person/couple is allowed access to the space at a time.

Sole Purpose
In partnership with local shoe store partnerships, we are able to provide shoes and socks to those in need with a referral from a school, doctor, therapist, or other supportive agencies. The Sole Purpose Program has provided more than 121 brand new pairs of shoes to those in need since 2021.
*The success of this program is heavily dependent on donations.

PurSuits
We believe that every woman deserves to step into their interview with confidence. We provide professional attire and personalized styling to help her look and feel her best, so she can make a powerful first impression.
YWCA Clinton Empowerment Center and Renaissance Resale Boutique, have teamed up to empower women with the support they need to shine. Women in the Clinton Community who are unable to find the financial resources to obtain professional attire for a job interview, new position or career may contact the Empowerment Center for help.
